Physiotherapy & Internal Examinations

An internal examination may need to be performed for your physiotherapist to assess the muscle contraction (squeezing power) of the pelvic floor muscles or to assess the presence of prolapse or other physical conditions relevant to your case. You may be asked to contract (squeeze) and relax your muscles several times. The assessment is usually performed while lying down.

Consultation Fees

We provide one-on-one appointments with only an appropriate number of treatments to address your needs. Our fees vary depending on your physiotherapist’s experience level and post-graduate qualifications. Physiotherapy fees are claimable through private health ‘Extras’ cover.
