Active Women’s Health is part of Active Rehabilitation Physiotherapy, a family-owned physiotherapy business operating in South East Queensland since 1993.
Our Women’s Health team provide physiotherapy services to women across their lifespan; through adolescence, pregnancy, midlife and post-menopause.
We have a unique ‘Connected Care’ approach. Our physiotherapy team will expertly support you from diagnosis, throughout your treatment and recovery – in hospital, in our clinics or through our online services.
Our large team at Active Rehabilitation Physiotherapy also provide specialist services for the management of: Men’s Health and continence issues, Child and teen continence (Mars Clinic), Musculoskeletal conditions, dizziness and other Vestibular issues, headaches and Cancer; as well as providing comprehensive rehabilitation before and after many types of surgery.

Our clinics are equipped with the latest technologies for accurate diagnosis and supportive treatment including: ultrasound, uroflowmetry, biofeedback, TENS and more. To help you achieve the best possible outcomes, we provide you with access to a customised, online video exercise program, PhysiApp, with the ability to record your progress.

Our experienced Women’s Health physiotherapists are attuned to the sensitive nature of women’s health issues. While some of these issues can sometimes feel embarrassing or difficult to talk about, our friendly team will put you at ease and are comfortable talking about every aspect of breast and pelvic health. All of our Women's Health appointments are conducted in a private treatment room.

At Active Rehabilitation we provide you with a unique physiotherapy experience. Using our Connected Care Approach, our highly skilled and caring physios support you through all phases of your treatment, in hospital and in our private clinics. We stay connected with you using our exercise and telehealth App, PhysiApp. We communicate with your medical team to keep them informed of your progress and work closely with them to support your care. Our physiotherapists will also connect regularly with your surgeon and specialists to keep them updated on your physiotherapy care.
Convenient options to access care
Active’s Women’s Health physiotherapists provide treatment and support while you are in hospital, and in our private clinics. If you prefer, we also provide online video consultations – including the use of PhysiApp, connecting you to your physio and a customised rehab program.
